Abstract: Six continuous sea—level fluctuations across the late Zisong stage to Luodian stage of Early Permian at Bianping area were recognized based on sedimentary records of Bianping Section,Ziyun county,Guizhou province.Among these fluctuations, the third is characterized by highest rate of sea-level rise ,the fourth by maximum water depth, and the fifth by supreme uplifted extent.A preliminary analysis has indicated that the heavy loss of fusulinaceans during Ear1y Permian may be related to the above eustatic features.
