Abstract:
Based on the improved minimum entropy deconvolution (MED) theory, a MATLAB procedure has been developed for automaticprocessing.Examplesonprocessingthegroundpenetratinradar(GPR)datafromsomemetrolineshavebeenincluded.Analyses of the results show that predicted karst caves locations and dimensions were consistent with the drilling results, which indicate that the MED method can effectively highlight the locations and dimensions of caves on a radar profile. This method of processing GPR data may be used in similar geotechnical engineering work.
